Andrei Akopian, Managing partner of Caderus Capital, a Russia-China investment firm and the official representative of the Moscow Exchange for China, has arranged and acted as moderator for three discussion panels focusing on the Chinese PE and portfolio investments into Russia. The discussion panels were part of investment conferences co-organized by the Shanghai Stock Exchange and the Moscow Exchange in Shenzhen (13 November), Shanghai (14 November) and Beijing (15 November).

Caderus Capital, the Russian-Chinese investment firm and the official representative of the Moscow Exchange for China, has, in cooperation with the Moscow Exchange, launched a new format of regular interactive communication with a growing audience of Chinese financiers, investment managers and analysts, expressing interest in the Russian financial markets and investment instruments.

As Sino-Russian relationships have reached a historically high point and since both political and economic ties between the two countries have been growing stronger by the day, the focus is turning to the bilateral investment cooperation. Being at the forefront of this process, we clearly see opportunities and are ready to make our contribution to bringing investment communities of our two countries closer together.

Caderus Capital, the official representative for China of the Moscow Exchange, along with representatives of the Moscow Exchange, the Bank of Russia (the Russian Central bank) hosted our very first investment webinar on September 27th (Wednesday). During the webinar we discussed the current investment environment and trends in Russia.

Russia and China are close to another milestone of co-operation with the placement of an offshore renminbi bond in Russia by the Russian finance ministry that would open new funding options for the country’s issuers and bring Chinese investors one step closer to Russia’s equity market.
